Privacy policy
What information we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.
Last updated August 1, 2026
What we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, email, phone, and shipping and billing addresses.
- Vehicle details you share for fitment: year, model, engine, transmission, VIN, and modifications.
- Order and service history so we can support what you bought and when it is due for service.
- Basic technical data from your browser — pages viewed and device type — to keep the site working and improve it.
How we use it
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where required to fulfill your order — the payment processor, the shipping carrier, and the manufacturer when a warranty claim requires it.
- To confirm fitment and process, ship, and support your order.
- To provide warranty service and service interval reminders.
- To answer questions you send us by phone, email, or the contact form.
- To send updates or technical notes if you asked to receive them. Unsubscribe any time.
Payment information
Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of the transaction and the last four digits for reference on future orders.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage to keep your cart and preferences between visits. This is functional storage — it is what makes the cart survive a page refresh. Analytics, where used, is configured to avoid collecting personally identifying information.
Your choices
Send requests to Sunstatediesel@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
- Request a correction to anything inaccurate.
- Request deletion of your data, subject to records we must keep for tax and warranty purposes.
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message.
Security and retention
We keep vehicle and service records while you remain a customer so fitment checks stay accurate, and tax records as long as Florida law requires. Access to customer data is limited to team members who need it to do their jobs.
This policy is written in plain language on purpose. If any part of it is unclear, call the shop at (407) 454-4772 and we will explain it in words that make sense.
