The stock 68RFE converter is the limiting factor on any tuned truck. It balloons under load, cooks fluid, and eventually takes the transmission with it.
This unit uses a billet front cover and a triple-disc clutch pack with a furnace-brazed impeller. Stall speed is selected around your turbo and towing weight, not guessed.
