The goal

Pull a 14,000 lb fifth wheel across Florida every month without watching the temperature gauge the whole way.

Daniel came in running a tuner on an otherwise stock driveline. The complaint was converter temperature on long grades and a fuel pressure gauge that dropped under load. We did not touch the tune. We fixed what the tune exposed.

What came in

  • Rail pressure sagging under sustained load on the factory lift pump
  • Converter-out temperature climbing past 220°F on grades
  • Original 68RFE internals at 184,000 miles with no service history
  • Fuel filter overdue with visible contamination in the housing

What left

  • FASS Titanium 165 holding steady pressure at the CP3, confirmed on a road log
  • Transmission temperature stabilized with the auxiliary cooler and deeper sump
  • Valve body recalibrated for towing so apply pressure holds under load
  • Full service baseline established with intervals tracked on the account

What we measured after

Rail pressure under load
Held within spec on logged pull
Trans temp on grade
Down from 220°F+ to 185–195°F
Service baseline
All intervals reset and tracked
They did not sell me more power. They sold me the parts that made the power I already had stop hurting the truck.
