BeforeAfter

The goal

Own a 1,000 horsepower truck that can still drive to Orlando for dinner without being miserable.

Big power on a 5.9L is not a single decision, it is a sequence. We built this truck around the head studs and fuel system first, then sized the turbo and driveline to what the fuel would support. Nothing was bought twice.

What came in

  • Stock head bolts at the limit of what boost could be added safely
  • Stock CP3 unable to hold rail pressure with the planned injectors
  • 48RE far outside its torque capacity
  • Intercooler and radiator both undersized for sustained boost

What left

  • ARP head studs installed and torqued before any boost was added
  • CP3 and injectors sized together with filtration to protect both
  • Built 48RE with matching converter and cooling
  • Cooling system replaced rather than patched

What we measured after

Power
Confirmed on the dyno after final calibration
Cold start
Clean, no smoke, factory-like idle quality
Drivability
Street manners retained at 1,000 HP
Every other shop quoted me a number. These guys quoted me a sequence and explained why the order mattered.
